Gagan Gujral is the founder of Lama, where he helps businesses deploy Unified Agentic AI Systems.
Gagan's work spans life sciences, the built environment, and product invention. He has built businesses across India, Europe, and the United States; launched a specialty-peptide CDMO for regulated markets; and invented and patented DesQ, the world's first air-conditioned desk. His earlier research explored sustainability, ambient environments, and human productivity.
Gagan studied at IIT Kharagpur and Stanford Graduate School of Business (Seed). He writes about AI and the world: how technology changes business, work, institutions, consciousness, and everyday life.
